About Anastasia Van Batenburg

I am a senior at Loyola Marymount University majoring in Journalism with a minor in Art History, graduating in May 2026. I grew up Fairfield, Connecticut. I have professional experience working as an editorial intern for the newsrooms at Connecticut Cottages & Gardens Magazine and Los Angeles Magazine. I have also written for the LMU campus digital news outlet, The Lion. I am pursuing a longterm career in arts and culture writing, dedicated to authentic and objective reporting.
